Congrats Ella becoming a Danish junior champion under 14 today 💪Having an unbelievable winner mentality she is more and more understanding that her attention in practise has to be more towards developing her game . My job is to keep that winning mentality strong but not compromise on the quality of the purpose which mostly is technical at this stage of her journey. This is what makes coaching exciting - always find solutions and keys for each individual to make the sessions full of challenges . Great job from Ellas homeclub Holte with Jörgen/Lucas in charge - let us keep up the great connection and teamwork ! ... See MoreSee Less

I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank all Viljan people for this year. It is just a little bit more than a month left of 2021 and it has been a special year with some tough times. Especially in the start of the year when all my danish players could not enter Sweden for a few months . But like the name Viljan says we looked inside for our will and energy to find solutions to the occuring challenges and overcame that. Now 2022 is closing in and I hope you will join us for some great events . The weekend camps and summer camp for juniors will soon be up to enter but right now our highly liked Italian trip for the ”older ” talents is on the board. Jump in on viljantennis.com and see what might suit you !Wish you a great december and upcoming holiday Patrik ... See MoreSee Less

Every match and tournament you will be challenged! Whether it is physical, tactical , mental or a combination of the above - there is always something to handle. This week Emanuel had to deal with being a big favorite in the danish championships for boys under 14. After a hardfought quarterfinal he found ”his ” way of dealing with it and won semi and final in an impressive way .I am so happy he had the experience of the quarterfinal which led to a great chat and a way to make him stronger as the great person and player he is ! Embrace the challenges that occur - that is how we grow ! Also Congrats to Augusta ( semi singles and winner doubles ) The Journey continues 💪 Go Viljan ... See MoreSee Less

Congrats Champ! A few hours ago Clara managed to win another WTA-title 💪This time in Luxembourg and she has now in 2021 been the winner in Lyon 250 in the spring, Chicago 125 in August and now this weeks 250 tournament beating the Olympic silver medalist vondrousova in the semifinal and former French open champion Ostapenko in the final. By all means an impressive year from the 18-year old talent ! But her success now is the result of many years of hard and smart work . ” if you want something you never had ,You have to do something you’ve never done”That is something Clara and her team constantly aim for ! Go beyond and things will happen , So happy for you Clara 👏👏 ... See MoreSee Less

WOW!!Sometimes that is enough to write and maybe I should have stopped there. But I feel that I want to write what is in that word for this occasion . * Maiden tour title * from the qualifying winning 7 matches in a row* beating 4 top 100 players * dropping only 7 games at the most per match * first time breaking in to top 100 Clara WOW - that is a week with outstanding performances 👏👏👏 ... Clara continues her path up towards the top by winning one more tournament this year . This time in Altenkirchen ,Germany . In the final she beat Simona Waltert, switzerland , in 3 sets winning the last 2 in solid fashion 💪What makes me confident that Clara has what it takes to get to the very top is not the obvious talent , her sweet contact when she hits her strokes nor the good eye for the game . It is the way she bounces back from hard losses and the way she handles tough situations . Last week there were opportunities in a quarterfinal loss - disappointed for a short while - talk about what to learn from that - jump back on the track and conqeur new challenges this week. A mentality like a champion - no limits - no excuses - only opportunities to grow. Go Clara 💪 ... See MoreSee Less

Congrats Clara to the title in Fujairah - many great wins this week and a lot of hurdles to overcome which was possible with a Champions attitude 💪Every point is an opportunity if chosen to see it that way . Looking for those chances and appreciate the countermoves from your opponent - that is what development is all about . Like Mandela said ” I never lose- I either win or learn ” So happy that all your efforts in the preseason gives you that great smile already now in January . Continue with all the smart work and you will have a lot to smile for this year and years to come 👏Thanks khalid al - Ali for the pictures ... See MoreSee Less

As a coach I have the pleasure to work with ATP and WTA players like Frederik Nielsen and Clara Tauson and throughout the years with a number of more Davis cup and Fed cup players . But I also enjoy spending a lot of time on promising young players that shows the Will to go beyond.Ella is such a player and I am happy to be a part of her development . Having the respect for her young Age ( 8 ) and the balance needed between playing fun games and working with technical details I always see that sparkle in her eyes of wanting to learn more. The journey is long but we as coaches always Have to see that sparkle in the eyes if it is to be a journey filled with dynamic energy. And of course show that sparkle as well ! Congrats Ella for the win today in an under 10 tournament in Holbaek - always nice to see that work put in shows in results a long the way ! Go Ella and go Viljan 💪 ... See MoreSee Less
